If your budget doesn’t allow for the products or services you need, financing options are available at Mackhall Mobility. Funding for specific mobility devices and services are also available with government funding assistance, as Mackhall is an authorized Assistive Devices Program (ADP) vendor. The next time you call or visit one of our showrooms, ask about what funding or financing options are available on the specific items or services you require.

The Assistive Devices Program (ADP) is funded by the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care to provide financial support for residents of Ontario who have long-term physical disabilities. Devices covered by the program include over 8,000 separate pieces and the ADP can pay up to 75% of the cost of equipment. Mackhall Mobility is proud to be an ADP vendor, because it helps to make mobility aids more affordable.


The Ministry of Community and Social Services (MCSS) helps Ontarians recover from hardship and regain control of their lives. They offer two different social assistance programs:

  • Ontario Works provides income and employment supports to people who are in temporary financial need, and;
  • Ontario Disability Support Program provides income and employment supports to people with disabilities.

The Home Adaptations for Seniors’ Independence (HASI) program offers financial assistance for low-income seniors wishing to make minor home renovations to help their house adapt to mobility issues. HASI requires participants to be 65 years or older, in a permanent residence, with the household income at or below the program income limit for the area.


Veterans Affair provides disability benefits to individuals who have a service-related disability.

General Motors of Canada Limited, and GM dealers nationwide, along with the assistance of the Saint Elizabeth Health Care and the Bridgepoint Community Rehab Drive Assessment and Training Center, have put together an extensive collection of information, resources and a reimbursement of up to $1,000 towards the cost of adapting your GM vehicle with accessibility aids.

Call the GM Canada Mobility Assistance Centre toll free at 1-800-GM-DRIVE to find out how you can qualify for the special reimbursement of up to $1,000.

We’ll send you helpful information on the variety of GM vehicles available for adaptation and on how the reimbursement can be applied, even if you secure other funding assistance for your conversion.


March of Dimes logo

The Home & Vehicle Modification® Program was established by the Government of Ontario Ministry of Community and Social Services in 1999. It is administered by Ontario March of Dimes and works to provide Ontarians with mobility issues financial resources to help make their homes and vehicles more accessible.

This program provides funding for basic home and/or vehicle modifications, up to $15,000 maximum for home modifications, and up to $15,000 every ten years for vehicle modifications.


MS Society logo

The MS Society offers Ontarians living with MS a wide variety of programs and services that promote personal independence and contribute to an enhanced quality of life. The Equipment Program and Special Assistance Program are designed to provide financial assistance to those requiring support with the purchase of mobility equipment, safety devices or needing services not provided by other government/community agencies.


Easter Seals logo

The Easter Seal Society, Ontario acts as a third party funder for children and young adults less than 19 years of age. To be eligible, clients must be registered with The Easter Seal Society, Ontario for financial assistance towards the purchase of eligible services and special equipment.


HandyTax logo

HandyTax helps Canadians with disabilities receive additional refunds from their current and previous years’ personal income tax returns. The Disability Tax Credit is a qualification used by the Canada Revenue Agency to determine eligibility for certain tax credits and benefits. HandyTax helps disabled Canadians apply for these tax credit and benefits.


President's Choice Children's Charity logo

President’s Choice supports children with special needs by providing financial grants for essential specialized equipment and essential therapies. Through individual grants, the charity is able to supply much needed resources and help provide a renewed sense of independence, dignity and freedom.
